Boiler Installation Bristol – Frequently Asked Questions
Boiler installation costs can vary and are dependent on the type of boiler required and installation time. Certain types of boiler model may take longer to install than others therefore increasing the installation cost. A good example of this is the complexity of installing a large conventional boiler relative to a combi boiler unit. When we provide a quote, the price stated is always set in stone and is based on a careful estimation of the time needed to complete the job. We will never charge additional extras or overtime so you can have confidence that our quotes cover the whole installation process end-to-end.
Most simple boiler installations should take no more than a day if the process involves replacing the old unit with a similar one in the same location. If however, you opt for a new location or different boiler type, extra work may required to integrate the new unit into your pipework system and could possibly take around 3 days.
Generally, the type of boiler you already have will be dictated by the size of your property and the household hot water demands eg. how many bathrooms, showers and radiators you have and where they are located. Typically large multi-story houses with multiple occupants, showers and bathrooms will be fitted with a system boiler whilst small flats with 1-2 occupants would be more suited to a smaller combi boiler. If you are unsure about what boiler is best for you then we will be more than happy to advise.
